1. What is mobile deep tissue massage therapy?
Answer: Mobile deep tissue massage therapy is when a licensed massage therapist comes to your home, office, or gym with all the equipment needed for treatment. Instead of traveling to a spa or clinic, you can enjoy the benefits of deep tissue massage, focused on relieving muscle tension and chronic pain; in the comfort and convenience of your own space.

2. What are the benefits of deep tissue massage?

- Reducing chronic pain and muscle tightness
- Improving posture and flexibility
- Breaking down scar tissue
- Speeding up recovery after workouts or sports
- Relieving stress and promoting relaxation
-
3. How should I prepare for an in-home massage session?
Answer: You don’t need to do much! Your therapist brings the massage table, towels, and oils. All you need is a quiet space large enough to set up the table (about 1.3m x 2m). Wear comfortable clothing, stay hydrated, and let your therapist know about any injuries or areas you’d like to focus on.
-
4. Is deep tissue massage painful?
Answer: Deep tissue massage applies firm pressure, which may cause some temporary discomfort, especially if you have tight muscles or knots. However, it should never feel unbearable. Always communicate with your therapist. We can adjust pressure to make sure you feel relief without too much pain. Most clients describe it as a “good hurt” that leaves them feeling looser and more relaxed afterward. During the massages, we aim for 7 out of 10 on the pain scale.

5. How long does a mobile massage session last?
Answer: Most sessions last 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your needs. A 30-minute session is great for focused work (like back, shoulders, or legs), while a 60-minute session allows for a breakdown of the knots in muscles, in multiple locations.
